FunZone mobile app · Last updated: 22 September 2026

This policy explains what the FunZone app collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. It covers the app used by parents. It does not cover the separate system our staff use at the branches, except where the two share the same records.

FunZone operates four venues in Lebanon:

For anything in this policy — a question, a correction, or a request to delete your information — speak to staff at any branch, or call or WhatsApp FunZone Antelias on +961 71 341 711.

What we collect

Your account Your name and mobile number. Your email address, if you sign in with Google or Apple — and in that case an identifier from Google or Apple that tells us it is you next time. The branch you chose as your home branch. A numeric code used by staff to sign you in at the counter if you cannot receive a message.
Your children The name and date of birth of each child you add, and optionally their gender, any allergies and any notes. You or our staff enter these. We use them for birthdays, for age-appropriate activities, and so that staff know about an allergy.
Your visits Each check-in at a branch, the cashback and tickets earned or spent, rewards redeemed, event bookings, birthday bookings and camp enrolments.
Messages The verification codes we send you, and any WhatsApp message you send us.
Your device A push notification token, so we can send you notifications if you allow them. A sign-in token that keeps you signed in.
Technical Your IP address, recorded only when a verification code is requested, and only so that nobody can request thousands of them. These records are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
Location Only if you ask the app how long it takes to drive to a branch, and only while you are looking at that screen. Your location is sent to Google to calculate the journey time. We do not store it.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments happen at the branch, not in the app. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics services.

Why we use it

Children's information

The app is for parents and guardians, not for children. Children do not have their own accounts and cannot sign in. The information we hold about a child is entered by the adult responsible for them, or by our staff at that adult's request, and is visible only to that household and to staff at the branches. You can edit or remove a child at any time in the app, and removing your account removes your children's records with it.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. To run the app we rely on a small number of specialist companies, which handle information only on our instructions and only for these purposes:

We may also share information where the law requires it. If you would like the names of the companies we use, ask us and we will tell you.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and your family's records for as long as you have an account with us. Records of visits, cashback and payments are kept afterwards as business records, but with your name, phone number and email removed, so they are no longer connected to you. Verification and sign-in security records are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

Deleting your account

Open the app, go to your profile and choose Delete my account. This removes your name, phone number and email address, everyone in your household, your children's records, and your signed-in devices. As described above, the record that a visit happened and what was paid remains, without anything identifying you. Deletion cannot be undone.

Your choices

Security

Information travels encrypted between the app and our servers. Access is restricted to the staff of the branch a family belongs to, and to the administrators who run the system. The code used to sign in at the counter is hidden from view by default.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app. The date at the top always shows when it was last updated.
